INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF THE DEPARTMENT

International communication is maintained with Professor Vessela Ilieva from Utah Valley University (USA), as well as with professors from Indiana University Bloomington (USA), with professors of the J. Balasagun National University of Kyrgyzstan., Кыргызстан.

Teachers of the department work on cooperation with foreign colleagues.

Over the years, foreign professors and specialists have come to conduct lectures and seminars for students, master classes for teachers: Doctor of Science, Professor C. W. Starkweather (USA) in 2004-2006, Professor Wessela Ilieva (2015), expert from the USA-Professor Carlin Sivanen, specialist of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan John Skacco, volunteers Peace Corps Professor Robin Sweringen, Master of Science Janet Givens (USA), O. Thomson (Australia), Professor Howard Woods (Canada), W. Hesser (Germany), R. Roth (Germany), and others.

Students participate in the programs "Work &TravelUSA”, "SUSIWomenLeadership", GlobalUGrad, SummerCampUSA, FullbrightProgramUSA, DAAD (Deutschland), etc.

In 2017, a graduate of the specialty 5B011900 – Foreign Languages: 2IA Karimsattar S. A. won a grant from the US State Department under the Fullbright Teacher Assistant program and during the academic year 2017-2018 taught Kazakh at Indiana University in Bloomington (USA).
